Jan. 6th 10:00 am
Police received a report that a week prior a North Face parka was stolen at a New Years Eve social in Angusville.
Jan. 8th 6:00 pm
Police were called to deal with a mental health issue to take a patient to the hospital along with EMS.
Jan. 9th 6:48 am
RCMP received a crash notification near Inglis on Hwy 366. Police and fire attended and located a vehicle in the ditch. It was pulled out by a tow truck.
Jan. 13th 2:31 pm
RCMP stopped a speeder on Hwy 16 in the Harrowby valley after he was clocked at 138kms coming down the hill. Police pulled them over and noticed that the driver had his cruise set at 140 kms. When police went back to give him the speeding ticket, the 41-year-old Alberta driver complained that the police radar must be faulty because his radar detector didn’t go off. Which resulted in another $298 ticket on top of the $598 ticket for speeding.
