Zebra mussels found in LOTP

Manitoba Environment and Climate Change has activated its Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Early Detection Rapid Response Plan after zebra mussel veliger (larvae) samples were found in Lake of the Prairies.
The veligers were initally detected near the PTH #5 bridge as part of the province’s routine surveillance monitoring program.
