The Prairie Mountain 4-H Beef Club held its Achievement Day June 8 at the fair grounds with 12 members showing their calfs, steers and heifers.
In his last year with the club, Thomas Allen showed the Grand Champion steer, a Hereford weighing in at a whopping 1,530 pounds.
