Better days recital showcases dance talent

Le Pas de Danse held a year end recital on Sunday entitled Better Days, and it was a better experience than most have been able to experience first-hand in some time.
Like the rest of world, Le Pas de Danse was subjected to social distancing restrictions, something which had a profound impact on virtually all activities but perhaps more so for physically interactive sports and events like those the dance studio would normally provide to their students. After years of in person practices and recitals, Le Pas de Danse was forced to close the dance studio and open zoom and video instruction as they waited out the pandemic. The all clear to resume normal activities was finally sounded by the province in March, permitting Le Pas de Danse to offer their first open to the public recital since 2019.
“I think it went really well. It’s been three years since they performed live so I felt a little bit out of practice but they did beautiful,” acknowledged Patty-Jean St Hilaire of Le Pas de Danse.
