Wanted man arrested

A wanted man has been arrested thanks to the efforts of Ste. Rose du Lac RCMP and a police service dog.
On May 12, RCMP received information on the whereabouts of Manuel Houle, 39, who was wanted on four warrants for a number of serious charges. Houle was believed to be inside a residence on Ebb and Flow First Nation.
Officers contained the home and a warrant to search was obtained.
Officers along with police service dog Marook, entered the home and located the suspect hiding.
He refused to listen to police commands and was arrested after a brief altercation.
He was taken to hospital where he was treated and released.
Along with his outstanding warrants, Houle was also charged with resisting arrest.
He was remanded in custody.
