Louise Ewankiw and Richie Davidson presented Andrea Glasman, Pam Demchynski and Judy Forsyth with a $20,000 donation to the Expanding Community Cancer Care (ECCC) expansion on behalf of the Russell Lions Club. The ECCC is continuing to fundraise for a much-needed separate parking lot for the expansion to the hospital as well as interior furnishings and equipment.  September will be a busy month with the Walk of Hope on Sept. 10th followed by the Tim Hortons Cookie Campaign a bit later in September. Patricia Kopetski also has tickets on sale now for the Caribbean Cultural Evening with a large percentage of the proceeds going to the ECCC. The Cultural evening will held on Oct. 22 at the George P. Buleziuk Centre.
